Holly Patton has over 25 years of experience working as an educator and advocate, supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. She has taught children and adults of all ages and with a wide variety of skills and challenges, and has extensive experience in program design for students with disabilities. She has also served as a college professor for several years in Western Washington University’s Teacher Education Program, and continues to do so.
Outside of public education she has been involved in the non-profit sector, providing parent support to families of children with disabilities, and co-founding an organization to support continued growth for individuals with developmental disabilities in their community.
She holds a Diversified Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a theme in K-8 Education, a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree in Special Education, and recently earned her Educational Doctorate (Ed.D) in Special Education from University of Washington.
Holly is excited to join the Chimacum School District, working with staff, students, and families for the best outcomes for our kids.
