Chimacum School District Announces Board Vacancy
At the November 7, 2018 meeting, the Chimacum School Board accept the resignation of Robert Bunker.
The open seat represents Director District 4.
Interested candidates should first confirm with the county elections office (360-385-9117) if they reside within the boundaries of District 4.
The board expects to review applications on January 9, 2018, during the regular meeting. Candidates need to complete an application. Additional Board policy information is located under the 1000 section on the Board policy page.
Interviews are conducted in an open public meeting at a board meeting at a time suitable to a quorum of the board, likely in January.
The District 4 seat is open to election in 2019. The filing window is May 13-17, 2019, a primary election (if more than 2 candidates file) will be held August 6, 2019, and the General Election is scheduled for November 5, 2019. The successful candidate will receive orientation to board service.
