Please join us for this community-wide event to further develop the foundation for a trauma-informed community. Move from knowledge to insight by sharing your wisdom and reflections in a guided discussion of the films Paper Tigers and Resilience. Both films address the effects Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) have in the lives of our clients and students, and their effects on the community at large. We are honored to have Kody Russell facilitate our conversation.
Kody Russell, MSW, Kitsap Strong, Executive Director, is one of 25 Washington State ACE Interface certified NEAR (neuroscience, epigenetics, ACEs, & resiliency) Master Trainer/Coaches. He uses his education and lived experience working with children and families through the child welfare system to add deep meaning and life to the neuroscience, resiliency, and trauma-informed curriculum. https://www.kitsapstrong.org/who-we-are
