Limescale or lime build up- Limescale is the hard, white, chalky stuff found in kettles, hot-water boilers and the inside of hot-water heating systems. It is also often found as a similar deposit on the inner surface of old pipes and other surfaces where hard water has been.
Packaged water softeners- Things you can buy in stores to control your water hardness, some people that work for a water company suggest that people should use them once a month to prevent water hardness
Dissolved metals- Dissolved metals is metal that has dissolved in water, it can be caused by sewege and run offs.
Dissolving- Example- A bar of soap. If you use it in a shower their will be bubbles, the bubbles are peices of the soap dissolving.
Evaporated- Example- A bucket of water. If you put a bucket of water outside on a warm day and wait a few hours, some of the water will be gone. That means it evaporated.
