Hard water has a lot of minerals in it. Hard water isn’t usually harmful. These are the minerals: Calcium, magnesium, some dissolved metals, bicarbonates, and sulfates. It is water that makes lime build up all over your house… mostly bathroom. Hard water will also put lime build up in your kitchens faucet too. You won't want to do dishes because #1-They will have spots on them when they are dry. #2-Because your faucet won't work as well. You can use packaged water softeners to get rid of hard water if you have it. If you want to know if you have hard water you can call a water company and they will come by to test your water and tell you if it's hard or not.
