Hard water interferes with all cleaning tasks that includes using water. The soap won’t dissolve. If you where trying to wash your clothes they would come out stingy and harsh. If you wash ANYTHING with hard water they won't loook as well as you expected it to because of all the things hard water does to the water, like soap won't lather as well, clothes will be harsh, if you wash you car the car will have tons of spots on it and might look worse then before! Hard water can be harmful sometimes, but most of the time it is not harmful because the chemicals are not harmful. Limescale will be in pots and pans, around the shower head, and anywhere else the hard water has evaporated or been.
