Bacterial reaction to agar

After you boil the agar in water you put it in the Petri and it will cool. When you put your water sample in the dish the water will spread across the dish then you incubate it over night when you see it again their will be coliform resalts of the water sample it will tell you the kind of bacteria that was in the water you tested.
