Water flows because of gravity that makes then it move with the
rest of the water. So if we put a log in the water would it slow down the water
or will it stay the same speed or will it even speed up? It would slow down
because the woody debrise would be in the way of water flow and slow it down.
Also it would stop most fish from being able to move.
