GLOSSARY
Ph tells you how acidic or basic the water is.the PH scle is 0-14. seven is neutral less then 7 is acidic if it is more then 7 it is basic .If the PH rate is too high it can cause aesthetic problems . most fish can tolerate PH values of about 5.0-9.0. In the day time the PH will be likely to be around 9.5 PH and in the night time it is likely to be around 7.3 .When acidic waters come in to contact with certain metals they become more toxic then normal . Salt water is less vulnerable to high PH levels then fresh water .
