Phosphorus is the element in which phosphates come from. Phosphorus is also a plant nutrient. both plants and animals need phosphorus to live. If phosphorus is in the ground near a waterway when it rains the phosphorus can wash away into the waterway and pollute it. Phosphorus can make planktin and aquatic plants grow faster.This meens there will be more food for the fish.This also meens the fish will get bigger and healthier.
