Testing

[1] To test fecal coliform you have to get a roll of tape, test tube, plate count agar, and e.m.b. levine agar.

[2]pour the e.m.b. agar on one side of the Petri dish and the plate count agar on the other side.
[3]Let the agar sit until it hardens.
[4]Then put the water you are testing into the test tube.
[5]Then put two drops of the water on the agar.
[6]Then let it sit in the incubator for two days.
[7] After two days take it out of the incubator and look at the agar to see the bacteria has
grown.
