Hamma Hamma information.
Chimacum Creek
We tested the DO of Chimacum Creek under the
bridge across from the school. The weather that day was pretty cloudy but dry
and it was also still. Our score for DO was 6.52 ppm
(we didn’t take a pH test so there’s no score).
Big Creek
We tested our DO from the middle of the creek
and did all the procedures on the bank of the river. (pH score
was taken on the side of the bank). The weather at Big Creek was cloudy and
there was even a little sight of sun! The DO
score: 10.3 ppm. The pH
score: 7.9
Hamma Hamma
The water at Hamma Hamma was moving pretty fast which means less salmon would stay there then if it was moving slow. We got our DO test sample from the middle of the creek and we tested the pH at the side. The DO score was 10.3 ppm and the pH was 7.1.
