By looking at the information taken, we know that overall
Chimacum Creek is moderately healthy. We know that for
hardness, conductivity, turbidity and the flow rate and temperatures were
good – perfect for all the creeks. For nitrates and phosphates the scores
don’t really matter but they do tell where pollution is so those scores
are also good. Hamma Hamma was also pretty healthy and maybe a little healthier
than Chimacum Creek except that the nitrates and phosphates show that since
Hamma Hamma is closer to the city it has more pollutants. The Big Creek scores
show that Big Creek is very healthy but the water is flowing faster than Chimacum
Creek and Hamma Hamma so that could stop as many fish from going there.
