PH is the balance of positive
hydrogen and negative hydroxide
ions. Chemicals can have forms of ions. The pH
scale goes from 14 high negative concentration to 0 high positive concentration
in the water. Communities age and industries can change the water's pH.
Synergy is the process of two or more chemicals combining and producing effects
greater than their sum. Most fish can tolerate 5.0-9.0 of pH
but anglers look for a pH amount of 6.5- 8.2.
If you mix acid water with small amounts of metal it makes it more acid water.
Different salts in seawater make acid water hard to get, and stable. The pH
level. Lemon has 2.5, coffee 5.6.5, milk 6.2, soppy water 7.10, beer 4.5 P.H.
values. P.H value determines weather water is
hard or soft. Water with a high P.H (8.7) could
have elevated levels of measure of the of basic (alkaline) mature of a solution.
If there is to much P.H or to little of P.H
it can destroy the creek.
The more negative hydroxide ions the more alkaline it gets and the larger theP.H
value. The more positive hydrogen ions the more acidic it gets and the lower
the pH value. A P.H value `of 7 is the same amount
of positive hydrogen and negative hydroxide ions in the water. Water with a
P.H value from 6.9 to 1.0 is acid like. Water
with a P.H value from 7.1 to 14.0 is alkaline.
The term for positive hydrogen is "H+".The term for
negative hydroxide is "OH-".The pH scale is logarithmic, which means
that there is a x10 change in the number of H+ions ( acid causing particles)
or OH-ions (alkaline causing particles) present for each change of P.H
of 1 units.when we get a P.H level of 7.0 we
call it "perfect" water.
