Hard water is the most commen in water quality problem report by U.S. consumers. In fact, hard, water is founding more than 85 percent of the United States. Hard water occurs when minerials are in the water. This is a neuisance problem.hardness in the water can cause water to form scales and a resistance to soap. It can also be defined as water that dosen't produce later with soap solution but produces white precipitate. (SCUM)
