These are Chimacum Creek B-IBI results. The scores are calculated by how many intolerant bugs there are and how many tolerant bugs. Tolerant bugs take away points and intolerant bugs add points. When you get the total score you can judge it by this.

10-24 points	Poor Water Quality
25-39 points	Moderate Water Quality
40+ points	High Water Quality

If you look at our chart you can see that our creek is in very bad condition. You should not litter, dump liquids, or other bad things in the ground so our stream can stay healthy. We also tested some other places with a different and easier system that accounts for every species, not every bug. Here is a copy.
