Introduction
The bunkhouses are where everybody sleeps and where,
basically where everybody lives in cispus. This page is
to show you what goes on in the bunkhouse.

Getting Ready For Bed
The Bunks are not very comfortable unless you bring
sheets or a sleeping bag. If you have a flashlight that
doesn't bother the other campers, and if your couselor
says you can, you can play cards or read before bed.
Make sure you brush your teeth and wash your face
before bed!
Cispus Bear
There is a small, white bear that is passed to the cleanest bunkhouse
on the cleanest coziest bed. Even if you don't care much for plush,
there is a more businesslike tone to the bear the half of the bunkhouse
that gets the bear gets a special bead for an extra clean bunkhouse.
Equipment
So, here is the tools you will need to get the bear. You have a janitor-
style wide-brushed broom. You also have an old fashioned regular
broom. Last, but not least, you have a mop with a bucket and caution
wet floor sign. You will need all these to get a no-bear-needed clean
bunkhouse bead.
Tips and Tricks for getting the Cispus Bear
1. fold down one corner of your sleeping bag or blanket.
the cispus bear loves it!
2. fold the shower curtains over the rods they hang from
so they dry out.
3. mop every day, keep all items in thier owner's bags, and don't leave
anything in the shower room.
Daily Routine
You and your counselors will decide when you wake up,
and you will have time to prepare before the 10:55 flag
salute, followed by breakfast. When you get back from
breakfast, you usually do the activities planned for the
day. In between most activities, you go back to your
bunkhouse, where you can relax. Shortly after you
finish your activities, dinner takes place, after which
you go back to your bunkhouse. After getting the
group together, you will go to dinner activities and
then go to bed.
