I grew up in Kingston, Washington and graduated from North Kitsap High School. I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Washingon. After a brief stint working in public relations and advertising, I decided to follow my heart back to the classroom. 

I have been a teacher in the Chimacum School district for 14 years. I taught kindergarten for 13 years and finally graduated to 3rd grade in the fall of 2017! I am a proud part of our community and enjoy working with children in the classroom, court and field.
