 Scholarship Portfolios

The majority of local organizations that award scholarships will accept this uniform scholarship portfolio application.  Most of these scholarships are open to students who plan to attend a 4-year university, community college, or technical/vocational school. So every student with college plans can complete a scholarship portfolio.  It is very important that your portfolio be neatly typed and have no spelling or grammatical errors.  Remember that your portfolio will be read by people who don’t know you personally and will judge you only on the information that you provide in the application.  The following 8 items are to be included in your portfolio.  They need to be in this order: cover page, future plans and goals statement, resume, financial statement, transcript, test scores, letters of recommendation, and (optional) copies of special certificates, awards, news articles, items that tell a story of who you are, etc. Due Date will be  March 2, 2020.  You can get the detailed directions for the scholarship portfolio from Ms. Fogerson in the counseling office or online at  Scholarship Portfolio Directions. Also you can ask for assistance in the counseling office.
