2025 Educational Programs & Operations Levy Measure
Chimacum School District will ask voters to consider a replacement Educational Programs and Operations (EP&O) levy on February 11, 2025, to fund programs, services, staff, and supports that are unfunded or underfunded by the state. This three-year levy would support things students and families rely on such as music, athletics, special education, and transportation, along with day-to-day operations like staffing, operations, and school maintenance.
The proposed levy will replace our current, voter-approved levy that expires in 2025. Local levy funds make up approximately 14.3% of Chimacum’s operating budget and allow us to maintain a well-rounded educational experience for every student. The estimated cost is $0.66 per $1,000 of assessed property value.
