Over the last several weeks our teachers at Chimacum School District have been doing an amazing job providing our students online distance learning and educational resources. To help make this possible we have issued over 100 Windows laptops to our students in the Elementary and Junior/Senior High schools and 30+ Chromebooks to our Primary school students!
If your student would like a school computer to help with their online distance learning, fill out our online survey and we will have one ready to either pick up at the CJSHS Commons or delivered via our school buses - https://www.csd49.org/News/2076
We have also setup a publicly available WiFi network at our main campus called CHSD-Guest for Internet connectivity. This can be accessed from the parking lots in front of the CJSHS Commons; behind the tennis courts; at the District office; and between the Elementary multi-purpose room and the old elementary school. There is also a publicly available WiFi network at the Jefferson County Library parking lot and PUD has begun setting up WiFi hot spots in the area - https://www.jeffpud.org/pud-adding-wifi-hotspots/
If you have issues with a school laptop, please contact your teacher. If they are unable to assist, they will find the support you need by contacting our IT department.
